“PRODYNA as a SI and developer of enterprise applications works together with Microsoft to accelerate digitalization and business innovation.” said David Wainwright, head of partner business development at PRODYNA. “With this nomination, we have demonstrated that the ability to rapidly develop scalable, enterprise grade software is an essential and basic requirement of any modern society in times of national crisis. This illustrates the success of agile cloud native software development processes and the central role of the Azure platform in serving humankind.”
The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered outstanding Microsoft-based applications, services and devices during the past year. Awards were classified in various categories, with honorees chosen from a set of more than 3,900 submitted nominations from more than 100 countries worldwide. PRODYNA was recognized for providing outstanding solutions and services in Cloud Native App Development.
To combat the COVID-19 pandemic and avoid a public health crisis, the German government passed the DIVI Intensive Care Register Ordinance, which was to take effect in just three weeks and required each ICU to report its bed utilization factors on a 24-hour basis. As a result, the German Federal Ministry of Health commissioned PRODYNA to develop a cloud-based web application in collaboration with the Robert Koch Institute and the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (DIVI). The solution was developed based on state-of-the-art PRODYNA best practice approaches in the areas of agile team organization, collaboration (Miro, Atlassian Suite), user experience (Sketch, FIGMA, Angular) and software architecture (Azure, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.). The project goal of equipping more than 1300 hospitals with a completely new application in less than three weeks was met with the use of cloud technologies. The partner SAS was selected for the operation.
“I am honored to announce the winners and finalists of the 2022 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards,” said Nick Parker, corporate vice president of Global Partner Solutions at Microsoft. “These partners were outstanding among the exceptional pool of nominees and I’m continuously impressed by their innovative use of Microsoft Cloud technologies and the impact for their customers.”
Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards are announced annually prior to the company’s global partner conference, Microsoft Inspire, which will take place on July 19-20 this year.
