The announcement was made at Magnolia DevDays. Magnolia DevDays is a two-day virtual conference that brings together the Magnolia community from around the world. Developers, engineers, architects and product managers can share their work, from implementing exciting projects to solving custom use cases and launching new features. After the announcement, the PRODYNA team had the opportunity to present a demo to the community with a pre-recorded talk.

PRODYNA participated with young Magnolia developers who were guided by experienced Magnolia developers. The mailchimp-connector directory, fully integrated with Mailchimp, is a lightweight module that can be used in any Magnolia project. It is a module that contains an embedded signup form and a content app. With the content app you can:

• Create, update and delete campaigns and lists
• Synchronize and schedule campaigns
• Synchronize list information
• Batch import new email accounts into a list

All data comes from Mailchimp. For this reason, the sync feature is used for campaigns and lists, and Mailchimp status is used with the respective content apps.

PRODYNA was recognized for providing outstanding solutions and services in Cloud Native App Development. 

To combat the COVID-19 pandemic and avoid a public health crisis, the German government passed the DIVI Intensive Care Register Ordinance, which was to take effect in just three weeks and required each ICU to report its bed utilization factors on a 24-hour basis. As a result, the German Federal Ministry of Health commissioned PRODYNA to develop a cloud-based web application in collaboration with the Robert Koch Institute and the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (DIVI). The solution was developed based on state-of-the-art PRODYNA best practice approaches in the areas of agile team organization, collaboration (Miro, Atlassian Suite), user experience (Sketch, FIGMA, Angular) and software architecture (Azure, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.). The project goal of equipping more than 1300 hospitals with a completely new application in less than three weeks was met with the use of cloud technologies. The partner SAS was selected for the operation.

Since June 2022, PRODYNA has been supporting the visually impaired para-athlete Linn Kazmaier from Oberlenningen. Oberlenningen is a tranquil town in Baden-Württemberg, about 40 kilometers southeast of Stuttgart. The 15-year-old schoolgirl has already celebrated many great successes in her Para-Ski Nordic career. At the Para-Ski Nordic World Championships in January 2022 in Lillehammer, Norway, she finished as the best German twice in 6th place and twice in 9th place. She took part in the 2022 Winter Paralympics in Beijing and – surprisingly for her age – stood on the podium five times (1x gold, 3x silver and 1x bronze). By winning the silver medal in the Para-Biathlon over 6 kilometers, she is the youngest German medal winner at Winter Games. Due to her visual impairment, she is supported by Florian Baumann as an escort runner. Florian won several medals at German Youth and Junior Championships and ended his active career in June 2020. In autumn 2020, the Swabian duo started their cooperation.

In terms of sports, Linn and Florian want to continue to take off: the World Cup starts at the beginning of December and in 2026 they want to attack again at the Paralympic Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Linn also competes in para-athletics in the middle distance. Here she wants to qualify for the Summer World Championships 2023 in Paris in the 1500m race. To then be able to compete at the Summer Paralympic Games 2024, also in Paris.

The concept of the travel startup convinced the experts of PRODYNA – they decided to invest.

The 20-year-old has already recorded many great achievements in her swimming career and most recently participated in the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

After her participation in the Tokyo Olympics, Anja switched from her training group in Spain to a new coach in Banja Luka. There she continues to train to her limits every day to achieve her goals and the hard work is paying off. She participates in the World Championships and the European Championships in Kazan and finishes 5th in the World Championships and also breaks the national record in the 200m butterfly. One week later she also breaks the national record at the European Championships, only 0.02 seconds behind the first-place finisher, and wins the silver medal. Just a few weeks later she achieves another success: with a lead of more than a minute, she breaks the national record in the 1500 m freestyle and receives the trophy for the best participant for her performance.

The Federal Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the German Association for Intensive Care Medicine (DIVI), commissioned PRODYNA to develop an intensive care registry to create a uniform picture of intensive care capacity nationwide.

WirtschaftsWoche annually calls on all consultancies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to have their most important and best client projects evaluated by a scientific advisory board and a jury; to award the best management consulting projects as part of the "Best of Consulting".

In this year's competition, PRODYNA once again prevailed in the category "Technologies" and were awarded first place. A provisional platform already existed for reporting intensive care bed occupancy, but it was not up to the challenges at hand, either professionally or technically. PRODYNA were tasked with solving the problem for RKI technology partner SAS. "We get called to fire calls with increasing regularity," says Jens Weimar, managing director at PRODYNA. "But a situation with the pressure and scope was a new experience for us as well. Only about 14 days later, in April 2021, the intensive care bed registry had to be ready."

"We had to implement a highly available and scalable system in the Cloud, in the shortest possible time to be able to process the enormous number of requests to the public area. At the same time, we had to ensure maximum reliability for reporting by the intensive care unit," explains Florian Aßmus. And as if the firefighting mission during implementation had not been enough, the PRODYNA consultants were still faced with the challenge of explaining the complicated regulation and use of the new solution to Germany's more than 1,500 intensive care hospitals directly with the live launch. "24 hours before the hospitals had to report their beds, we still had to set up a service hotline on the fly and brief the phone operators," says Timothy Simms.

CMO Jens Weimar draws a very positive conclusion overall: "We learned a lot about ourselves and that we can be incredibly fast and still be professional. In October 2020, PRODYNA continued its tradition by taking over the sponsorship of swimmer Anja Crevar from Serbia. The 20-year-old has already recorded many great achievements in her swimming career. After participating in the 2016 Olympic Games, she became officially the youngest Olympic team member in Serbian history. Moreover, she successfully qualified for the Olympics in Tokyo the following year. In order to achieve her greater goals, Anja has moved from Serbia to Spain to prepare for the next Olympic Games with a training group led by national coach Freg Vergnoux.

In this interview, she talks about her daily life, her biggest successes and what’s coming in the future.

When did you start swimming and what does it mean to you?
Swimming has been my passion since I was just a kid. I learned how to swim at the age of four and started competitive swimming when I was eight. Ever since then, I’ve enjoyed everything that came along with the sport. It has brought me many beautiful things, such as traveling, making new friends, meeting new cultures and it has built and strengthened a character and personality that I am grateful for today.

What does your daily routine look like now?
During the week, we have training sessions in water twice a day. On Saturdays and Sundays, we only train in water once a day. Additionally, we have gym and cardio every day. Right now, a normal training day for me looks like this:

• 06:55 - 07:40 a.m. - Cardio training (bike/row/run)
• 07:55 - 08:15 a.m. - Breakfast
• 08:45 - 11:15 a.m. - Swimming
• 11:30 - 12:45 p.m. - Gym/Crossfit

• 13:30 - 15:30 p.m. - Free time/rest

Putting it like this sounds real hard, which it is, but I’m really enjoying it here. Comparing it to the daily routine in my home country there is not too much stuff to think aside, except for training and online classes. Now I’m living in a place which is the home of many other athletes, too. We have everything we need: from a cafeteria, a gym and a pool to rooms for studying.

What were your biggest achievements?
I participated in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games where I finished at a modest 20th place. I’m also qualified for the next year Olympics in Tokyo, where I will be aiming for higher goals. Also, I’m a two-times senior European championship-finalist, where I finished 8th in 2018 and 5th in 2019. Additionally, I won the silver medal at the 2018 Mediterranean Games in Tarragona. I earned 4 medals (2 golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze) from the European junior swimming championships in 2016 and 2017 and 1 bronze medal from the World junior championship in 2017.

At my first European championship, I have won a bronze medal, and at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires 2018, I took the second place. I participated in three World senior championships, where my best ranking was last year’s 12th place. I’m a many times Balkan champion and national record holder in different events.

What do you do besides swimming?
I am a third-year student of psychology at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade.

How did you spend your last days before leaving to Spain?
I spent my last weekend at home at Mountain Avala with my mom and sister, to enjoy some great quality time. I visited PRODYNA in Business Garden, to feel the spirit and hospitality of the company, and to meet Mr. Cifci. I was amazed by the kind people and the beautiful view there.

Finally, I joined an event called “Olympic class”. It was held within the European week of sports and was organized by the Serbian Olympic Committee. I got a chance to speak with kids about my experience in sports and to motivate some of them to push themselves to the next level. To be honest, I couldn’t wait for the day of my departure because I anticipated what awaits me there. Of course, I was a little sad because of my family and friends, but it’s something I am used to. I often had to put so many things aside because of the sport I love.

What’s up in the coming weeks?
Corona Virus is still present and going, so some things are suddenly happening even though we don’t have an impact on it. And I’m okay with that because I have learned to adapt to any given situation.

We were supposed to have two competitions this month, but because of the situation with the pandemic, they were canceled. I haven’t been competing since February this year, so I’m looking forward to the next contest which should take place in November in Castellon. Also, we have scheduled 4-weeks high-altitude training camp in Sierra Nevada on 25th of October. To go there we had to do PCR testing for the corona virus. Unfortunately, one girl from my team was tested positive so we had to change our plans. She had to return home for recovery, and we got orders to stay in our rooms for 10 days. We were only allowed to go out for swimming and meals at particular times. We were lucky that everyone is feeling okay and that she is asymptomatic. Because of that, we were allowed to train under special circumstances. Still, the plan is only delayed so we should go to Andalucia on 4th of the November.

Whether it's running, cycling, walking, pilates, home workouts or active lunch breaks. For every physical activity of our employees, PRODYNA donates an amount to Welthungerhilfe. The amount will be donated to selected projects, such as an agricultural and environmental project in the northern Burundian province of Ngozi. This project promotes the sustainable use of natural resources as well as the employment of young people in future-oriented professions, and access to financial resources is also taken into account. Another project benefiting from our donations is a climate protection project in the Caribbean. Through the project, Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) solutions are being developed to help make the biological corridor in the Caribbean a regional model for climate change adaptation and biodiversity.

To further motivate our employees at the end of the fundraising campaign, we invite everyone to participate in the virtual ZeroHungerRun. During the virtual fundraising run, PRODYNA donates for every active PRODYNA employee as well as for every active Welthungerhilfe employee.

With our donations, we also take care of the health of our employees and strengthen the team spirit among each other. Team spirit, performance orientation and common goals are decisive factors that are in the foreground at PRODYNA and its employees.

WirtschaftsWoche asked all consultancies in Germany to have their best customer projects evaluated by a scientific advisory board and a jury. Mr. Franke, what is your role in the Digital Development Office at tesa SE?
As part of the Digitalization Initiative 2025, tesa has set itself the goal of digitizing its own processes. In the Digital Development Office, I initiate digital products, including BLOX.

Tell us about the project you have been implementing with PRODYNA since 2019.
With BLOX we have developed an application that is individually tailored to tesa. Based on the newly developed coherent data model, it depicts technical interrelationships and relationships. The cloud setup enables us to outsource the majority of the technical complexity into the infrastructure and to focus BLOX on the business logic. The application provides a platform for innovations in research and development, allows a 360° view of our database and forms the basis for comprehensive risk analyses.

What added value could be realized for tesa as a result?
In the past, it was a challenge for tesa to gain a structured overview of the technical dependencies and implications of our production steps. BLOX solves this problem and accelerates our product development. At the same time we can use the developed data model for our risk management. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, the application has strengthened our business continuity by enabling us to identify and avoid risks in real time through a 360° view of raw materials, supply chains, technologies and market data.

How has the application helped to deal with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic?
One example is the automotive suppliers and producers of chemical raw materials located in Northern Italy, which are particularly threatened by the lockdown. Our central concern is to be able to guarantee our customers the availability of our products even during the pandemic. Due to BLOX, we were able to identify risks at an early stage and define data-based measures to ensure that we can continue to supply our customers.

What role did PRODYNA play as your consulting partner in the development of the application?
We involved PRODYNA very early in the process in order to integrate their expertise in working with the graph database Neo4j. During the cooperation it quickly became clear that the consultants were very proactive in contributing their own ideas and suggestions. In this way, we were able to maximize the business value created together. In the meantime, a PRODYNA team implemented the entire application in the Microsoft Azure Cloud.

Why Microsoft Azure as Cloud Partner?
The Azure ecosystem fits perfectly with our digitalization strategy – we can operate successfully proven IT systems reliably and scalably and take new prototypes into test operation with minimal risk. In the BLOX environment, for example, we benefit from the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), which enables us to regularly connect new user groups from all business areas to the knowledge management system with great ease. In addition, the Azure Cloud allows us to achieve a higher development speed and allows us to control costs incurred at project level.

What's next in the Digital Development Office?
Together with PRODYNA and Microsoft, we have created a valuable foundation for leveraging knowledge within the Group. In the future we plan to link more and more information in the knowledge graph. There is potential for expansion everywhere – from logistics to product development and sales. We will implement many more exciting projects as part of our Digitization Initiative 2025.

After initial skepticism, the German-speaking landscape of independent software vendors (ISVs) has recognized the signs of the times and is setting the course for the cloud age. However, many ISVs are still facing the challenge of lifting their applications from the on-premise world into the cloud. Lack of know-how, non-existent data center capacities and the necessary refactoring require investments that stand in the way of a cloud first strategy. In addition to the technical challenges, the conversion of the sales department is a further challenge, because a rental solution requires new sales models and channels, such as the creation of a digital marketplace. In order to support ISVs in their "Cloud Journey", the ADN Group with its partners abtis, white duck, and PRODYNA has now set up a dedicated ISV program. The program accompanies ISVs on their way to the Azure Cloud from the first steps such as licensing issues, through development and marketing.

After the successful European Championships at the beginning of June in Lucerne (Switzerland) the first World Cup for the athletes of the German rowing association has taken place from 21-23 June. A total of 75 rowers made their way to Poznań (Poland) together with the team of supervisors.

After the successful European Championships at the beginning of June in Lucerne (Switzerland) the first World Cup for the athletes of the German rowing association has taken place from 21-23 June. A total of 75 rowers made their way to Poznań (Poland) together with the team of supervisors.

To achieve the greatest success and to find the fastest combinations, the discipline instructors raced up to two boats per boat class during the World Cup. In addition, the replacement people get a chance to prove themselves in the race.

With the start of the 2017 rowing season, PRODYNA and the Frankfurt rowing club Germania have agreed on a four-year partnership. In 2000, PRODYNA was co-founded by Germania rower and today's CEO Hüseyin Cifci. PRODYNA will be involved in Germania not only financially but also with its knowledge as an innovative IT consulting company.

How did you come to rowing?
I tried many different sport activities as a child. When I was twelve years old I tried rowing with my brother and I found my passion.

What does your daily routine look like?
Since I live in Mainz and my main training facility is in Offenbach I always have to get up early in the morning. Usually, I take the train at 6:30 am to start at 8 am with the training. After 90 minutes rowing on the river Main I drive back to university in Mainz. Depending on the timetable, I stay there until afternoon before returning to the gym. Since the train journey takes a very long time and I also have more to do in university on some days, I do not drive to Offenbach every day and can complete my training in Mainz.

What were your biggest achievements?
As my biggest achievements so far, I would call the third place in the U23 Olympic boat class last year. At the U23 World Championship in Poznan, Poland I rowed together with my partner Jonathan Schreiber and finished third. It was the perfect end to a very nice season.

Do you have time for other things besides rowing?
Besides sports, it is important for me to deal with something else. My studies in economics provide a welcome change. Therefore, I invest most of my free time in my studies. The rest of the time I like to spend with friends and especially my girlfriend, who wonderfully supports me in my sport.

What's up in the coming weeks?
Currently, I am in the immediate preparation for the German Small Boat Championship, which takes place in Cologne from April 12-14, 2019. The aim is to offer oneself for the national selection, which in the coming months will compete in various national and international competitions for the places in the World Championship.

• Sandra Wittenwiller, IT consultant at PRODYNA Switzerland, will go for the fascinating route of 180 km length and 12,500 Hm, crosses the Mediterranean Sea's high mountains of Corsica. The hike is spiked with countless climbing passages laying far away from inhabited villages.
• Tommy Ongena is sales manager in Switzerland. His sportive goal would be to go for an Ironman. This means he will swim 3.8 km, then bike 180km and at the end run a 42.2 km marathon.
• Jovan Milosevic, IT consultant in Belgrade, has set up two milestones: the first one was to participate in a 2 km river race in July and the second, end-of-year goal, is to swim 5 km under 3 hours in a pool in Munich, hopefully with some of our colleagues accompanying him.
• Frank Herling, senior IT consultant, will go for a mountain bike ride thru two countries, over nine summits, 4,400 meter altitude and 162 km length in the beautiful Ore Mountains. And all should be finished within 2 days.

His biggest triumph to date is the World Champion title in the lightweight eight in Amsterdam. How he came to rowing at a young age and what his plans are for the future, Sven told us in an interview.

How did you come to rowing?
At the age of eleven, I took part in a rowing course at Gießen RC Hassia for the first time through a school action (holiday pass). In this the rowing was made so "tasty" that I switched from soccer to rowing. When I think back, that was my best decision to make when I was a child. I was not that talented in football and would never have got as far as I did in rowing. I was directly trained and motivated by successful Junior World Championship participants.

What does your daily routine look like?
We usually have a 3-2-1 rhythm, that is, we train three units one day, then two, and one on the third day. Then the rhythm starts again from the beginning. Sunday we have a completely free day. At the moment we do a unit strength training for muscle building on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On these days we then additionally make one endurance unit, respectively on the days when there are three units also a Stabi / stretching unit. Wednesday is always our half day off, with only an 80-100 minute endurance session taking place.

Typical three units day:

• 7 am Get up, have breakfast
• 8-10 Training, e.g. maximum strength
• 10-3 pm Lunch break, relaxation if necessary master class or preparation for this
• 3-6 Endurance unit between 80-100 minutes rowing, Ergo, cycling etc. followed by Stabi-training abdomen, legs, butt about 45-60 minutes
• 6 pm Doing all sorts of everyday stuff: shopping, meeting friends, going to the movies, free time and, of course, going to bed early, because it starts again at 7 am the next day.

What were your biggest achievements?
My greatest successes were in the years when I could win a medal at the World and European Championships:

• In 2014 I became world champion in the lightweight eight in Amsterdam
• In 2015 my longtime partner Jonas Kilthau (also Germania) and I won the bronze medal in the lightweight team at the European Championships in Poznan, Poland
• 2017 was the world championship in Sarasota, USA Florida. At this event, I won the bronze medal in the lightweight foursome. Jonathan Koch (Germania), Julius Peschel (Hannover, my current two-person partner) and Patrik Stöcker (Siegburg, my partner in 2017) were also on board.
• The most beautiful success was the last medal in the USA. Jonathan has already announced in advance that it's his last season and he will stop after the World Championships. I learned a lot from him and would never have gotten so far without him. That's why it was a nice ending for him and a bronze medal won for us all. (Preparing for the World Cup was by far the coolest of all, we got along great in the team and became really good friends, which cannot be taken for granted.)

Do you have time for other things besides the rowing?
That always depends on the season time. In an immediate competition preparation I do not have much time for other things. The focus is on the training and the upcoming competition, so some things will be left behind. When I train in Frankfurt, I have my time management in my own hands and I can partly set up units so that I still have enough time for my family, friends and my girlfriend. But bigger things like holidays always stand back. That means in a "normal" season I have four weeks after the World Cup to do everything I could not do for the remaining eleven months. That can be really stressful :-)

What's up in the coming weeks?
In the next few weeks, the focus will once again be on strength training to build up the necessary kilos and strength to keep up with the heavyweights. In the middle of March we will again go to a training camp in Portugal, to have the necessary water kilometers and to get into the competition specifics. At the beginning of April, the first cadre check-up will take place, in which I want to place myself far ahead with my partner.

Beside a 25.000 square meters sales area there are exclusive housing units and office rooms in the complex. In a food corner you’ll find culinary delights for every taste and the complex offers many different shops for fashion and everyday commodities. On 10 June 2017, on the initiative of the SCHOTT AG and in cooperation with the Children's Neurological Center of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate, Mainz's University Children's Hospital and the TSV SCHOTT, the 10-hour Run for Children® in Mainz took place for the twelfth time.

On 10 June 2017, on the initiative of the SCHOTT AG and in cooperation with the Children's Neurological Center of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate, Mainz's University Children's Hospital and the TSV SCHOTT, the 10-hour Run for Children® in Mainz took place for the twelfth time. Together with the children's charity organization "Elternkreis Down-Syndrom", our running team "PRODYNA RUN for 21" ran 308 laps this year, totaling 123.2 kilometers. We were rewarded with the trophy for the highest donation sum of 6,160 euros.

In the end, Chairman of the Board, Frank Heinricht could announce proceeds of 140,000 euros. This sum will soon be donated to 29 non-profit charities, which support sick, disabled and socially disadvantaged children. Overall 70 teams with 2,500 runners took part in the 12th Run for Children® and for ten hours they ran round after round on the 400-meter-track of the sports club TSV SCHOTT Mainz. Together, all teams were running almost 22,800 rounds, or over 9,000 kilometers. This corresponds to the impressive route from Mainz to Shanghai in China.

The intranet portal "planetmondi" was awarded the third place of the IntraNET Award 2017 in the category "User Experience Design & Content Management" at a festive ceremony. The Corporate Intranet has been designed and developed for the Mondi Group by PRODYNA.

This year, PRODYNA employees chose Children’s Shelter in Belgrade as the beneficiary of this donation, for their project “Win for the Children’s Shelter”. Statistics show that the number of these children is growing, and the capacity of the Shelter with only 16 beds and 250 qm is not nearly enough to help all the children in need, thus a new, bigger house is crucial for providing enough room for all at-risk children. On the initiative of friends, celebrities and donors who are aware of the difficulties the Shelter has, the project "Win for the Children’s Shelter" began in June 2010, with the aim to collect funds for a home of at least 400 qm with 30 beds. A new house would provide help to many future generations of the most vulnerable children, and PRODYNA is proud to be part of this initiative.

Gemeinsam mit der Mainzer Kinderhilfsorganisation "Elternkreis Down-Syndrom" startete das Laufteam unter dem Namen "PRODYNA RUN for 21". Dies bedeutet konkret, dass PRODYNA Kollegen mit ihren Familien und Kindern gemeinsam mit Eltern und Kindern des Vereins (mit und ohne Down-Syndrom) laufen.

Damit möglichst vielen Institutionen geholfen werden kann, hat sich PRODYNA zusätzlich mit 2.500 Euro als Sponsor an der Veranstaltung beteiligt. Mit insgesamt 312 gelaufenen Runden, 124,8 Kilometern und einem Spendenbetrag in Höhe von 10 Euro pro gelaufene Runde ist somit ein großartiger Gesamtbetrag von 5.620 Euro zustande gekommen. Der Erlös wird auch im Jahr 2016 regionalen Kinderhilfsorganisationen in Mainz zu Gute kommen, die kranke, behinderte und sozial benachteiligte Kinder unterstützen.

Vielen Dank an die SCHOTT AG, die in Kooperation mit dem Kinderneurologischen Zentrum des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz, der Mainzer Universitätskinderklinik und dem TSV SCHOTT diese Veranstaltung jedes Jahr möglich machen.

„Dein Tag für Afrika“ ist eine bundesweite Kampagne für Schülerinnen und Schüler jeden Alters und aller Schulformen. Organisiert und veranstaltet wird die Kampagne seit 2003 von dem gemeinnützigen Verein Aktion Tagwerk.

Die Idee von „Dein Tag für Afrika“ ist ganz einfach: Schülerinnen und Schüler gehen an einem Tag im Schuljahr anstatt zur Schule arbeiten. Ihren Lohn spenden die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer dann für Bildungsprojekte in fünf afrikanischen Ländern.

Caroline und Vanessa Schimmel, Töchter von Oliver Schimmel, Head of Enterprise Software Development, haben ihren "Tag für Afrika" bei PRODYNA verbracht und uns fleißig unterstützt.

Katrin Thoma ist im vergangenen Jahr mit dem deutschen Frauen Leichtgewichts-Doppelvierer im Rudern Weltmeisterin geworden. PRODYNA wird die Weltmeisterin für längere Zeit in Bezug auf ihre sportlichen Aktivitäten unterstützen, fördern und begleiten.

Die Idee gemeinschaftlich sportliche Ziele zu erreichen und dabei einen guten Zweck zu unterstützen, ist von Beginn an bei PRODYNA verankert gewesen und wird auch im noch jungen PRODYNA Standort Schweiz umgesetzt. Aus den Beiträgen der Schweizerischen Kollegen und einem Zuschlag von PRODYNA selbst kam es so erstmals zu einer Spendenübergabe an die Caritas Schweiz in Luzern.

Jens Nixdorf, verantwortlich für PRODYNA in der Schweiz, und sein Kollege aus dem Vertrieb Tommy Ongena haben einen Spendenscheck in Höhe von 2’189 CHF an Herrn Hugo Fasel (Direktor der Geschäftsleitung) und Herrn Markus Planzer (Leiter Abteilung Informatik) übergeben.
Die Übergabe fand in gewohnt partnerschaftlicher Atmosphäre statt, da PRODYNA auch im Bereich der Unternehmens-IT mit dem Hilfswerk zusammenarbeitet.

Die Caritas Schweiz ist in mehreren Sparten aktiv. Inländisch lässt sie armutsbetroffenen Menschen ihre Unterstützung zukommen. Weltweit leistet sie Nothilfe bei Katastrophen und Wiederaufbau. Aktuell steht die Bewältigung der Flüchtlingskrise in Griechenland im Fokus.

Die Idee gemeinschaftlich sportliche Ziele zu erreichen und dabei einen guten Zweck zu unterstützen, ist von Beginn an bei PRODYNA verankert gewesen und wird auch im noch jungen PRODYNA Standort Schweiz umgesetzt. Aus den Beiträgen der Schweizerischen Kollegen und einem Zuschlag von PRODYNA selbst kam es so erstmals zu einer Spendenübergabe an die Caritas Schweiz in Luzern.

Jens Nixdorf, verantwortlich für PRODYNA in der Schweiz, und sein Kollege aus dem Vertrieb Tommy Ongena haben einen Spendenscheck in Höhe von 2’189 CHF an Herrn Hugo Fasel (Direktor der Geschäftsleitung) und Herrn Markus Planzer (Leiter Abteilung Informatik) übergeben.
Die Übergabe fand in gewohnt partnerschaftlicher Atmosphäre statt, da PRODYNA auch im Bereich der Unternehmens-IT mit dem Hilfswerk zusammenarbeitet.

1983 gründeten Eltern, deren krebskranke Kinder an der Kinderklinik des Universitätsklinikums Frankfurt behandelt wurden, den Verein „Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V.“. Das Ziel der Gründungsmitglieder war es, sowohl die Bedingungen für die jungen Patienten und deren Familien im stationären und ambulanten Bereich der Kinderkrebsklinik zu verbessern als auch in psychosozialer und finanzieller Hinsicht Hilfe zu leisten. Somit versteht sich der Verein als Einrichtung von Betroffenen für Betroffene und bietet unbürokratisch Unterstützung und Begleitung für die erkrankten Kinder, Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen und für deren Geschwister, Eltern und sonstigen Angehörigen.

Im Jahre 1994 gründete der Verein seine „Frankfurter Stiftung für krebskranke Kinder“. In dem 2005 eröffneten stiftungseigenem Forschungshaus, angrenzend an das Familienzentrum des Vereins und in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Universitätsklinik, wird an den Ursachen und zur Verbesserung der Heilungschancen für krebskranke Kinder und Jugendliche geforscht mit dem Ziel, die Erfolgsaussichten bei der Behandlung zu verbessern.

David Wainwright, Marketingleiter bei PRODYNA, überreichte den Spendenscheck in Höhe von 5.000 Euro an Rudolf Starck, Geschäftsführer des Vereins und seiner Stiftung. Die derzeitigen Vorstandsmitglieder, der Geschäftsführer sowie viele der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter des Vereins sind selbst betroffen und wissen, was es bedeutet, mit der Diagnose „Ihr Kind hat Krebs“ leben zu müssen.

Die Auszeichnung mit dem Liferay Customer Excellence Award basiert auf einer Umfrage unter den Liferay-Kunden zur Zufriedenheit mit Liferay und den damit verbundenen Dienstleistungen der Partner. Der Liferay Innovation Award hingegen ist ein Publikumspreis, für den sich die Partnerunternehmen im Vorfeld der Veranstaltung bewerben konnten und den die LPSF-Teilnehmer live auf der Veranstaltung wählen. Sponsor und Ausrichter haben sich für das erste Jahr ehrgeizige Ziele gesteckt. Bis zu zwölf Booten sollen pro Renntag auf der Sprintdistanz gegeneinander antreten. A PRODYNA delegation attended the first Atlassian User Group Munich meeting for 2015 on the Feb 26. We met many established users sharing our enthusiasm for the Atlassian tools as well as newly interested people starting to feel their way into the ecosystem of tools around JIRA, Confluence, and others. The visit produced valuable insights into new and less commonly known products and plugins (e.c. HipChat, Portfolio) and spawned many interesting discussions. We will be back next time.
