Accessibility Review (WCAG Audit)
Design

Motivation
Accessibility is more than a legal obligation. It is a smart and forward-thinking investment in your users and your brand. Starting in June 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) will require digital products and services across the EU, including websites, ecommerce platforms, mobile apps and customer portals, to meet WCAG standards.
But true accessibility goes beyond ticking boxes. It improves the experience for everyone, opens your services to a wider audience, builds lasting trust and reflects your commitment to the responsible, inclusive innovation. The most successful organizations see accessibility not as a hurdle but as a core part of digital quality. Acting early brings real world advantages such as better performance, greater market access, reduced legal and reputational risk, and lower long-term costs. More importantly, you show that you care about reaching all users and building digital products that are usable by everyone.
An accessibility audit is an essential first step in the process. It helps you understand your current status and identify gaps concerning the fulfilment of WCAG standards. The audit provides a clear, actionable list of findings and an estimation of the effort required to address each issue.
What we bring
With over 20 years of experience in building software applications for many of the world’s largest enterprises, PRODYNA is well-equipped to access your applications in regard to the WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards. Our expertise in this area includes:
- Automated Testing: We use leading tools like Axe, Lighthouse, and WAVE to quickly identify technical issues and structural gaps based on WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
- Manual Expert Reviews: We manually assess critical user interactions, focusing on keyboard accessibility, screen reader compatibility, and navigation logic to capture real-world usability barriers.
- User-Centric Evaluations: We simulate user scenarios based on different types of impairments to understand how people with disabilities would experience your product in practice.
What you need
A collaborative effort with your internal team, including developers, IT stakeholders, content leads, and product owners, will facilitate a comprehensive assessment.
What you get
Our Accessibility Review delivers the clarity and structure you need to understand your current accessibility maturity and plan effective next steps towards WCAG compliance. Whether your goal is simply compliance or a plan towards a higher-level customer experience with prioritized inclusive design, we help you uncover both technical and experiential gaps and turn them into opportunities for better digital products.
