What you get
You’ll receive a comprehensive baseline of your organization’s cloud native maturity, assessed across the five dimensions of the CNCF Cloud Native Maturity Model: People, Process, Policy, Technology, and Business Outcomes. Through interactive workshops, we’ll uncover challenges and opportunities, map stakeholder perspectives, and identify capability gaps. The results are visualized in a maturity heat map, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. Based on this, we’ll deliver a prioritized, actionable roadmap tailored to your goals—empowering your teams to evolve cloud native practices with clarity and confidence. PRODYNA will guide you and your staff through the entire process in the following phases:
Kickoff
(generally 1 day)
We begin by aligning on the goals, scope, and expectations of the assessment. You'll receive an introduction to the CNCF Cloud Native Maturity Model, including its five dimensions: People, Process, Policy, Technology, and Business Outcomes. Together, we’ll define the stakeholder groups and plan the upcoming workshops and interviews.
Stakeholder Workshops
(generally 2 - 3 weeks)
Through structured workshops and interviews, we engage cross-functional stakeholders—developers, operators, architects, security, and leadership. We define key personas (e.g., App Developer, SRE, Architect) and map their workflows as journey maps. This helps uncover friction points, tool gaps, and process inefficiencies. The goal is to surface real-world challenges and align evolution with user needs.
Maturity Mapping
(generally 1 - 2 weeks)
PRODYNA will now map your current capabilities and identify any gaps based on the insights from the workshops. For each capability, we will assess its maturity across key dimensions:
- Investment: Level of resources and focus.
- Adoption: How widely used and integrated it is.
- Interfaces: Ease of use and accessibility.
- Operations: Reliability and maintainability.
- Measurement: How effectively its performance is tracked.
We will compile a heat map visualizing the maturity of each capability, highlighting areas of strength and weakness. This heat map will also include recommended actions to improve maturity, prioritized based on their potential impact on your cloud journey and the effort required for implementation. This data-driven approach provides a clear roadmap for evolving your capabilities.
Review & Plan
(generally 0,5 day)
As the final step, we will review the assessment findings, including the maturity baseline and the prioritized heat map. Collaboratively, we'll define concrete next steps and an action plan for improvements based on the recommendations. This ensures a clear path to boosting productivity and accelerating delivery.
