Complex technical requests, incomplete information, and demanding quotation processes remain key challenges for industrial sales teams. At the Conversational AI Customer Experience Summit (CACES) 2026, industry experts explored how AI can help address these challenges by making expert knowledge more accessible and supporting faster, more informed decisions.
Held on 28–29 October at the H4 Hotel München Messe in Munich, the summit featured a keynote by Johannes Laue, Lead Product Designer at PRODYNA, titled “Making Expert Knowledge Work in Industrial Sales.”
During his session, Johannes presented a real-world case study from a manufacturer of highly engineered components, demonstrating how AI can interpret incomplete or ambiguous requests, identify missing information, and help sales teams narrow down suitable solutions. The keynote also highlighted how expert knowledge and employee feedback can be transformed into a continuously growing knowledge base, improving decision-making, accelerating responses, and streamlining quotation processes. By building on existing digital foundations, AI-powered products can also enable more integrated, end-to-end workflows.
The session demonstrated how AI can help industrial organizations unlock valuable expertise, address complex business challenges, and create more efficient digital processes.
